From the back cover:

Finding Our Way To Each Other is part of my journey, shared through photographs, inspired thoughts, and writings. These photos are from excursions out in the world. My vision behind the lens is to capture each beautiful moment and share it. I feel inspired to create a way for images to be meaningful for others. My experience is that nature and animals are healing, restoring, balancing, soulful, and spiritual.

In my travels, I have been fortunate to meet amazing people. They have graciously shared what they see, how they feel and how they live. I carry with me their wisdom and stories. In creating this book, I wanted to put together something meaningful for everyone. I hope that these photos and words inspire you, resonate with you, be a compass, and remind you that you are seen, heard, and have purpose. It has been a true gift to have these experiences and be able to share it with you.

About the author:

My name is Louisa Huntington Fisher. My nickname is Lou. I grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut, enjoying a beautiful, peaceful, quiet way of life. As a kid, I was drawn to animals and nature, feeling a deep connection with both. I love the great outdoors and enjoy hiking, kayaking, tennis, downhill skiing, and swimming. I have been an athlete all my life and my favorite team sport is soccer. I played through college and was honored to be voted captain of our team for two years. While there, I formed many valuable and enduring relationships with the team and college friends; we share a special bond to this day. I am very close to my family and friends, especially my mom. She has played an integral part in my life and is one of my best friends and a blessing. I was fortunate to live close to New York City, where I was, and still am, able to take part in different cultural activities such as art shows, museums, and the opera. My journey showed me that my purpose in life is to help people and animals. I went back to school and got my master’s degree in mental health counseling. It is a gift to connect with human beings. I live with gratitude every day and currently reside on the seacoast of New Hampshire with my cat, Shiloh.
